Hey, I'm Alex. Thanks for looking!

I'm a software engineer who loves building distributed systems that scale. Currently exploring the promising world of Rust while maintaining a strong relationship with Java and Kotlin.

Need help with that? Contact me!

What I Do

Over the past decade, I've been designing and building distributed systems that handle over 6 billions requests daily for S&P 500 companies. Most recently, I spent 6 years at Adobe working on Target and AJO products, where I focused on creating high-performance, low-latency services.

I particularly enjoy working with:

  • Distributed systems architecture and scalability challenges
  • Kotlin + Spring Boot WebFlux for reactive applications
  • Kubernetes orchestration and custom infrastructure solutions
  • AWS cloud architecture and infrastructure design
  • DevOps practices and reliability engineering

Current Focus

While I'm deeply rooted in the JVM ecosystem, I'm actively exploring Rust and its potential for building highly efficient and resilient systems. I'm also passionate about sharing knowledge about distributed systems, performance optimization, and lessons learned from the trenches.
